Telemedicine FAQ

To use doxy.me, our telemedicine portal, is quite simple. All you need is a laptop, desktop, tablet, or smart phone while utilizing Google Chrome.

  1. Notify our office with a working email so we can send you your customized, personal invitation for your provider. This invitation will directly link you to your provider via webcam.
  2.  Once you receive your custom invitation link, simply click on it to take you to your online appointment. Once the connection is established, your appointment will begin just as it would in person.
  3. To allow the video call to work, you MUST allow microphone and camera access to have permission otherwise the call will not work.
  4. Feel free to treat the telemedicine appointment just as you normally would, asking any questions or noting any concerns you may have.
  5. Finally, wrap up your appointment with your provider and a Medical Assistant will follow up if necessary.

We appreciate your understanding of this new system and for your patience. ISS is trying to make the transition as smooth as possible for both you and us.

We apologize for any inconveniences that may occur while switching to telemedicine. With the upmost concern for our staff and our patients, we made the decision to cut back staff and minimize the number of patients that will be physically in the facilities. Our goal is to maintain the upmost care and concern for our patients. Please, if you feel that you have any symptoms noted below, stay home and reschedule your appointment.

If you have experienced any of the following:

Coughing

Fever

Flu-like symptoms

Recently traveled in large outbreak areas

Knowingly been in contact with a diagnosed individual
